The first picture :In 1903,the law stipulated that people had to wear neck-to knee costumes when they swim.
The second picture :Now most people were covered from neck to knee.Not because that law or they think bare skin is shocking -but to protect their skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
It's very funny!Both wear neck-to-knee,but hundred years ago it's a law,the people had to do.Nowadays most people were that just because they want to protect their skin.I think the man who made that law would be laughed very big sound Ha,Ha,Ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It is funny, isn't it? We've come full circle... back to covering ourselves completely! This time is for health reasons instead of moral ideas.
